The Hark Pro app is available on iOS, Android and the web at hark.com, and it's one account across all three. Download it, sign up free, connect your email, and you've got a personal AI assistant that can read your inbox, suggest actions and run tasks on a cloud computer for you. This page is the practical app guide: where to get it, what I did in my first 10 minutes, the main areas of the app, the phone permissions worth thinking about, and what the plans cost per press reports.

Where to Get the Hark Pro App
Hark launched on 6 October 2026 on three platforms at once:
| Platform | Where to get it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone | The App Store | Search for Hark and check the developer is Hark before you install. |
| Android | Google Play | Same check: make sure the listing is from Hark. |
| Web | hark.com | Handy on a laptop for longer sessions. |
It's the same account everywhere. Sign up once and use whichever device is in your hand. I signed up on the web at hark.com, which is a nice way to do the first setup because the screen is bigger, then carry on from your phone.
One tip: new AI apps attract copycats. Only download from the official store listing or go straight to hark.com. Don't install a "Hark" app from a link someone sent you in a DM.
Your First 10 Minutes in the Hark Pro App
Here's exactly what I did when I first opened it. Follow the same order and you'll understand the app fast.
Minute 1 to 2: sign up free
There's a free tier, so you don't need a card to start. Onboarding was smooth. Honestly, it felt easier than Grok Bot, and a lot like a simple, out-of-the-box version of OpenClaw. No config files, nothing to install beyond the app.
Minute 2 to 4: connect your email
The app recommends connecting email first, so I connected Gmail. That's what powers the memory, the proactive cards and the inbox actions. Without it, Hark is mostly just a chat box.
Minute 4 to 7: give it one real task
I asked it to book an Italian restaurant for Wednesday next week. It asked how many people. I said 6pm, two people. It started booking and picked one of my favourite restaurants, which shows the email context working. I told it to stop before it completed the booking.
That's the right way to test it. Give it something real, watch what it does, and stop it before anything final happens until you trust it.
Minute 7 to 10: look around Home
Open Home, glance at the action buttons and proactive cards, and try making one panel. I typed "track my productivity" and it asked whether I meant meeting hours versus focus time, or to-do tasks, then suggested connecting ClickUp or Asana. Ten minutes in, you'll know whether it fits your life.

The Main Areas of the App
Here's what you'll find, based on what I saw hands-on and what Hark has shown.
Chat
The chat is the centre of the app. It has long-term memory, so it remembers you across conversations. You can drop in attachments, and there's a "show" function that pulls things into the chat so you can see them. I also ran "prep my day", which checks your calendar and inbox and builds an itinerary for the day.
Home, panels and action buttons
Home pulls everything together: action buttons, panels and things like paying bills. Panels are small mini apps that learn your preferences. You create one by describing what you want, and it asks follow-up questions to get it right.
Projects
Projects are for long-horizon work that doesn't fit a single chat. They're dedicated threads that store files. Planning an event, tracking one topic over weeks, that kind of thing.
Proactive cards
This was my favourite part. Hark read my inbox and offered action items with a simple yes or no. You don't dig through email. It surfaces what needs doing and you tap.
Scheduled tasks
There's a section to manage tasks you set up in chat, so it's not only reactive. You can have it do things on a schedule.
Voice input only
You can talk to it, but it doesn't talk back. Voice is input only, with no spoken replies. Fine for dictating a request on your phone, but don't expect a voice-assistant conversation.
Handoff, the cloud computer
Behind the scenes, Hark runs tasks on a cloud computer called Handoff, shown in a small window so you can watch it work. It runs on a model Hark trained for computer use, which is how it clicks through websites to finish tasks.

Integrations I Saw
Inside the app I saw options to connect Gmail, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, Notion, Amazon and PayPal, plus a wallet you can add. Connect only what you actually want it to use. You can always add more later.
A good order on a phone: email first, then one work tool you use daily, like Slack or Notion, and leave payment connections until last. That way you see how it behaves with low-stakes data before it gets anywhere near your money.
Hark Pro App Permissions to Think About
This is the bit most people skip, and it matters more on a phone, where tapping "allow" is easy.
- Email access is the big one. Hark's best features depend on reading your inbox. Decide which account you connect. Some people start with a personal account rather than a work one.
- It acts on real accounts. It booked a real restaurant flow for me. When something involves money, messages or bookings, read the approval before you tap yes.
- Proactive cards are approvals. A yes on a card is you telling it to act. Treat those taps like you'd treat sending an email.
- Payments and wallets. PayPal, Amazon and a wallet are available. Only connect them once you're comfortable with how it asks before acting.
- Your data. Hark says it won't sell your data to advertisers, and you can delete your data any time.
My rule: start small. Connect email, test a few low-stakes tasks, stop it before anything final, and only then give it more access.
Pricing in the App
Per press coverage, the plans look like this:
| Plan | Price (per press) | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Base usage |
| Hark Pro² | $20/mo | 2x usage |
| Hark Pro³ | $100/mo | 10x usage |
Reports also say the first 100,000 sign-ups get a paid plan free. Check that in the app yourself before you count on it. My take: start on the free tier and only upgrade if you hit the limits.
Who the App Is For
The Hark Pro app is built for personal admin: inbox, bookings, bills, your day. It's the smoothest consumer agent I've tried. It honestly feels like the Apple of AI agents.
But it's not a business automation platform. If you want agents that run content, SEO, outreach or client work, you want something like Hermes or my Agent OS. Start with my Agent OS guide, and see how I test tools in Goldie Bench.
