How To Enable Video Generation In Hermes
It's a few steps in the terminal (no coding):
- Connect Grok — run
hermes model, choose the Grok/xAI option and log in. - Open Hermes tools — run
hermes tools, go to tool configuration, and find video generation. - Set the provider to Grok — switch video generation over to Grok Imagine (if you set it up before, you'll need to reconfigure it).
- Restart the gateway — then ask your agent to "generate a video of…" and it runs the video skill.
The same flow turns on image generation and text-to-speech, so one login covers video, images and voice.
